Your Only Competition is the Person You Were Yesterday!
Each morning when I wake up, I ask myself - how can I be better today than I was yesterday? It's not about being perfect or even being the best. It's about progress and continuous improvement.
We often get caught up comparing ourselves to others—
↪️How good is their content?
↪️How did he or she grow so rapidly?
↪️How many followers do they have?
↪️How successful is their business?
And so on ..
It's easy to look at someone else's highlights and think we don't measure up.
But the truth is, the only person you should be comparing yourself to is..."yourself".
Ask yourself this:
↪️Are you wiser than you were this time last year?
↪️Do you have more skills?
↪️Have you challenged yourself to step outside your comfort zone and try new things?
Some days, you might slide backward by doing all these. But as long as you're better than the person you were before, you're on the right track.
"So instead of focusing endlessly on others, check in with yourself."
↪️What's one small way you can improve today?
↪️How can you expand your knowledge?
↪️How can you gain a new skill?
↪️How can you become a better person than you were yesterday?
And then,
↪️Define your goals
↪️Focus on your personal growth
↪️Seek inspiration, not comparison
↪️Build a supportive network
↪️Celebrate small wins
↪️Believe in your progress.
"As Progress takes consistent effort and it happens slowly, over time. It's not always linear."
Remember, "It's YOU vs YOU". Believe in your ability to grow. Your best self is still ahead of you.
